1. Weapon Arrest (1537) Bianchi Road and Cotton Court, Valley Oak District.
Officers conducted a check out of a vehicle at the call location. As officers removed S#1 from the car, he attempted to pull away. He was placed in handcuffs after a brief struggle, and the officers found a loaded firearm on his person. They searched the vehicle found three more firearms. ARRESTED: Jerimiah Duncan, 20, Richard Melgroza, 18, S#3 Romeo Shannon, 20, and a male and female juvenile were arrested for weapon charges.
2. Person Shot (2145) Union Street and Flora Street, Park District
The male victim, 49, was walking in the area when the suspect vehicle stopped next to him. The passenger exited and fired multiple gunshots at him. He got transported to an area hospital, where he was in stable condition. SUSPECTS: Three Hispanic male adults, no further description.
3. Weapon Arrest (2208) Sierra Nevada Street and Poplar Street, Park District
Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. They observed a firearm in plain sight and took the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Aaron Henderson, 29, for possession of a firearm.
4. Resisting Arrest (2356) 3300 Block of Five Mile Drive, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the report of a disturbance and observed several people fighting. Officers attempted to break up the fight, and the suspects resisted. One suspect spat on the officers after being arrested, so officers used a spit net to prevent her from spitting on them. ARRESTED: Two Female Juveniles.
5. Robbery (0106) Filbert Street and Marsh Street, Park District
The male victim, 63, was at the call location when he was assaulted by multiple suspects. The suspects took his property and fled. The victim refused medical attention and was unable to provide any suspect description.
