Pomona Detectives Investigate Homicide

CRIME: 187 PC – Homicide
VICTIM: 1 Male Adult (identification withheld pending notification of next of kin)
SUSPECT: Unknown

NARRATIVE:
On 10/23/2022, Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to the 2200 Blk. of Carlton St. in reference to the sound gunfire. Responding officers found a male adult suffering from an apparent gunshot wound lying near the curb. The victim was transported to a local hospital via ambulance and unfortunately was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
Homicide Detectives from the Pomona Police Departments Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The motive for the shooting is unknown and no suspects have been identified.
