Mayor Bhalla encourages all eligible residents to get updated booster, new clinic on Tuesday for ages 5+

The City's clinic at 605 Jackson Street has updated booster appointments available for residents 5 years old and older. The clinic, made possible through a partnership with Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding, will offer updated Pfizer and Moderna boosters between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Appointments are required. To make an appointment, go to www.hobokennj.gov/vaccine

"The FDA and CDC's guidance is clear – the updated booster provides important protection from variants and will help keep you, your neighbors, and the community safe during the winter season," said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla. "I encourage all eligible residents and new eligible children to get the updated booster if they have not already done so at this clinic."

This month, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorized updated Pfizer boosters for those 5 years old and older who received their vaccine or booster at least two months ago. The FDA and CDC also authorized updated Moderna boosters for those 6 years old and older who received their vaccine or booster at least 2 months ago.
