Update: Suspect Arrested & Charged for Attempted Armed Robbery at Mobil on University Avenue

A male suspect arrested by the Green Bay Police Department for his alleged involvement in an attempted armed robbery at Mobil gas station, 1465 University Avenue, on Monday, October 3, 2022, has been charged by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.

Green Bay Police with the assistance of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office took suspect, Ziante Watts, 31, Village of Bellevue, into custody without incident during a traffic stop in the Village of Bellevue for a probation/parole violation, on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged Watts on Friday, October 21, 2022:

  • Attempted 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide
    • Use of a Dangerous Weapon
  • Attempted Armed Robbery
  • Possession of a Firearm – Convicted of a Felony
