Full Notification

On Monday, October 24^th, 2022, at approximately 10:57 pm, Petaluma Police Department Officers responded to 1440 East Washington Street (Chevron) for a robbery report. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the victim. The victim told officers he was outside of Chevron when a male subject approached him and punched him. After punching him, the male subject stole his (victim’s) cellular phone. The subject left the area of Chevron on foot. The victim provided officers with a detailed suspect description as well as the last known location.
 
A short time later, officers located a subject matching the description of the suspect in the area of Lucchesi Park. Officers detained the subject who was later identified by the victim as the responsible party. The suspect was identified as Tate Madson (26-year-old Mendocino resident). A records check revealed Madson had three outstanding warrants which included two felony warrants. Madson was arrested for the warrants in addition to the robbery charge. He was then booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
