Update: Green Bay Police Locate Owner of Dog Involved in Bite Incident
The Green Bay Police Department has spoken with the owner of a dog that was reportedly involved in a bite incident of a juvenile on Monday, October 17, 2022, and a quarantine order was issued on Monday, October 24, 2022, in compliance with Wisconsin State Statute 95.21.
The victim, who had sustained minor injuries, told police that the incident occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. near Meyer Park, 425 Goodell Street, and involved a stray dog.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the bite was instead inflicted by a relative’s dog inside of a private residence.
We do not believe that there is a danger to the community, at this time.
