Winter weather is upon us, and that means us Wyomingites need to take some extra precautions. Travel during winter months can get tricky, so you want to be prepared. In addition to having your Wyoming Bag in your vehicle for winter (be sure to have some extra gloves, hat, socks, winter boots, and other layers in there, too), you need to know where to get important information. Be sure to check out our 2022-2023 Winter Road and Weather Sources of Information document. It includes hyperlinks to official local sources of information on winter weather and travel. It also includes a handy chart to show you where to get information on the different roads in Teton County (hint: most are WYDOT highways so www.wyoroad.info is usually your best source). With a good Wyoming Bag and this information, you’ll be that much more prepared for an enjoyable and safe Wyoming winter!
