Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Customer Arrested for Armed Robbery At AT&T Store Blackwood Clementon Road
On Monday, October 24, 2022 at approximately 8:18 pm, the Gloucester Township Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting a man with a gun at the AT&T store. The call then disconnected. Officers secured a perimeter around the store and immediately located the suspect and took him into custody.
Investigation revealed that during an argument, Mr. Jones displayed a handgun and stole the employee’s cell phone as he was attempting to call 9-1-1. A search of the area, where the male was located was conducted and officers recovered a 9mm handgun with an extended magazine and hollow point bullets.

Nathan Jones was charged with Armed Robbery (1st degree), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (2nd degree), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon-Handgun (2nd degree), Terroristic Threats (Third Degree), Possession of a defaced firearm (Fourth Degree), Possession of Large Capacity Magazine (Fourth Degree), and Possession of Hollow Point Bullets (Fourth Degree).
He was remanded to Camden County Correctional Facility in accordance with New Jersey Bail Reform.
