ORIGINAL MESSAGE: US Highway 101 is currently closed in both directions at Knife River quarry (near mile marker 24) south of Seaside due to a serious motor vehicle accident. The highway will be closed for an indefinite amount of time to allow emergency resources to respond. Motorists should avoid the area. Power outages occurring in South County.
