At approximately 1:23 p.m., police units were dispatched to the area of Elevado and Crescent Drive in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. A female walking in the area was approached by an armed male suspect who demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspect fled in a white four door vehicle westbound out of the city. The victim was not harmed during the robbery.
