The DEA Drug Take Back will take place this Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10am-2pm in the lobby of City Hall. On Saturday, October 29, 2022, DEA and its partners will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other forms of prescription drugs.  Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, and illicit drugs.  Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container.  The cap must be tightly sealed to prevent leakage.  The event will also continue to accept vaping devices and cartridges provided lithium batteries are removed.

Trunk or Treat will take place the same day beginning at 6pm thru 9pm on the lot of City Hall. Those wishing to participate by handing out candy should plan to arrive between 4:30pm-5pm. Candy donations may be made at City Hall during business hours Friday. Western Taney County Fire Station #2 is cohosting with the Police Department and will have resources present at City Hall while handing out candy.
