An Invitation to the Children in Sherman, Families and Guests

“Annual Community Halloween Bash 2022 –
Safe Trick or Treating”

    When:   Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, 4 PM - 7 PM

Where: Roadway Looping around The Sherman Playhouse and “Scout House”
   (If rain or snow, event will be held inside Charter Hall)                                                              
  • Get a treat at each ‘Trick or Treat” booth while having some fun.  This is an in-person event
  • Safe environment
  • Adult/s must accompany child/children
  • “Halloween Scavenger Hunt”
  • Different venues to view.  Watch out for ghosts and goblins that may appear 
  • Nitzu, the 11 foot blow up “fiery” dragon, will be on display flapping his wings to take a picture.  Other inflatables for photos along the route    
  • Please bring own bag, or bucket for collection of goodies, or a plastic bag will be provided
  • Wear a costume, but dress for the weather
  • Make sure masks do not impair vision, when walking 
  • A flashlight will come in handy
  • Wearing of face covering optional
  • Hot dogs, chips, drinks, Halloween treats….  FREE of CHARGE!  Self-serve and individually wrapped. 
  • No Fee, but donations of canned soups, boxed mac and cheese, pasta, and pasta sauces will be welcomed to distribute to a local food pantry.  Donations of school supplies, small toys, games and tooth brushes will also be accepted and given to The Sherman Church to fill shoe boxes sent to children in other countries as part of “Operation Christmas Child”.  Contributors will receive a small reward.  Drop off table along the route.
  • Good community service opportunity for youth.
