Watch Commander’s Day Report - October 30, 2022 
1. Accidental Shooting (0518) 3000 Block of North California Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a local hospital on a report of a person who arrived with a gunshot wound. Officers contacted a male, 35, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. During the investigation it was learned that the male accidently shot himself while investigating a suspicious noise at his residence.
2. Shooting Into A Dwelling (1000) 2000 Block of Ophir Street, Park District
The female victim, 32, reported her residence had been struck by gunfire. There is no suspect information.
3. Robbery (1045) 2500 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The female victim, 27, was at her residence when the known suspect arrived, kicked in her door, and stole her property. The victim confronted the suspect and he threw an object at her before fleeing. SUSPECT: Black male
