The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic crash on the City’s west side that has resulted in the death of a 17-year-old male passenger from Milwaukee.
Officers were dispatched on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at approximately 7:40 p.m. to the 1200 block of W. Mason Street for the crash, which was reported to have involved at least three vehicles.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that the occupants of one of the involved vehicles had fled the scene.
Initial reports indicate excessive speed to have been a factor.
This investigation is ongoing.
We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or may know of events prior, to contact us.
The name of the deceased will be withheld until next of kin is notified.
W. Mason Street is back open after being closed for approximately 12-hours.
