Join us today from 3 PM to 5 PM, for OPD's Trunk or Treat at Verdes Carter Park, 9600 Sunnyside Street.
This family-friendly event is free for kids 12 and under. Come in your favorite costume and spend Halloween afternoon with OPD. We will have free candy and raffles for everyone!

As a trick-or-treating pedestrian:
• Always be aware of your surroundings.
• Do not let electronic devices distract you as you walk to and from your destination.
• Pay attention to the traffic moving around you.
As a trick-or-treating driver:
• Look out for pedestrians!
• Slow down, yield to pedestrians, and be prepared to stop when nearing all intersections.
• Be cautious when backing up – pedestrians, particularly young children, can be difficult to see.
General candy safety tips:
• When in doubt, throw it out! Avoid candy that is not securely wrapped.
• Consider avoiding small, hard candies for young children, as they can be a choking hazard.
