Press Release: Felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition and high-capacity magazine. Active warrant for robbery 
On Friday, October 28, 2022, at approximately 7:35 PM Corcoran Police Officers were asked to assist in locating a wanted Robbery suspect. Kings County Major Crimes Task Force members advised that Daniel Solis had an active warrant for Robbery and was possibly in the 2200 block of Whitley Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and observed a subject matching the description of Solis. Officers attempted to contact Solis who immediately fled on foot. While being pursued, Solis discarded a bag he had in his possession. Solis was arrested after a brief chase. A search of the area was conducted, and officers located the bag Solis had discarded while he was fleeing. Inside the bag officers located a non-serialized firearm that contained a loaded high-capacity magazine. Solis was turned over to the Kings County Sheriff’s Office along with the evidence located on scene. He was later booked into the Kings County Jail for multiple weapons charges and the no bail robbery warrant.
