SUBJECT:  Crossing Guard Struck by Vehicle

NARRATIVE:   On October 31^st, 2022 at approximately 2:05 pm officers were dispatched to the area of West Park Avenue near the western driveway of the high school for a report of a motor vehicle crash.  While conducting their investigation, the crossing guard for the high school was struck by a separate vehicle near the eastern driveway to the school.  Oakhurst First Aid responded and tended to the victim before transporting him to a local hospital.  The victim is currently in stable condition.  The driver of the vehicle was determined to be at fault for the crash and was issued several motor vehicle summonses.
