1. Robbery (1508) 700 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
The suspect entered a business in the area and started stealing items. The female victim, 39, confronted the suspect and the suspect threatened to harm her. The suspect left the area on foot and responding officers located him. The suspect resisted officers when they contacted him and he had to be restrained. ARRESTED: Jeffery Edwards, 45, for robbery, resisting arrest, and a warrant.
 
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2149) 8000 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
A female juvenile victim was in the area when she became involved in an argument with a group of female subjects. A male suspect pulled out a gun and fired it into the ground. The victim was struck with what appeared to be shrapnel from a bullet. The victim was checked by medics on scene and did not require transport to the hospital. SUSPECT: Black male 20’s.
 
3. Robbery (0001) 2700 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The male victim, 35, was working at a business in the area when approximately 10 suspects entered. The suspects attacked the victim and stole several items. The victim was able to defend himself and chased the suspects out of the business. The suspects then threw rocks at the victim before fleeing the area. Officers responding to the area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and were able to detain five of the suspects. Stolen property from the robbery was located. ARRESTED: #1 Tionnie Hall 19, #2 Amaya Tucker 18, #3-5 female juveniles for robbery and conspiracy.
