VICTIM(S): Richard Reed, 17-years-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On October 30, 2022, at 11:01 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a report of a man down near the intersection of La Mesa Road and Jade Road. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, Richard Reed, lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced Reed deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
