1st Degree Assault Involving a Firearm
Plattsburg, MO, 11/01/2022- The Plattsburg Police Department along with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 200 Block of West Walnut at about 10:10 pm on 10/31/2022.
A female victim was transported to KC Metro trauma center by Tri-County Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries from gunshot wounds. A suspect is now in custody and being held in the Clinton County Jail pending charges. This is still an ongoing investigation.
The Plattsburg Police Department was assisted by the Gower Police Department, Lathrop Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and Missouri State Highway Patrol.
