1. Resisting Arrest (0828) Wilson Way and Walnut Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on a traffic hazard involving a person walking in traffic. Officers contacted the suspect who refused commands and continued walking in the roadway. Officers attempted to detain the suspect but he resisted and had to be restrained. ARRESTED: Michael Garza 37, for resisting arrest.
 
2. Person Shot (1028) 400 Block of South California Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area. Officers contacted the male victim, 61, who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
 
3. Attempted Robbery (1048) 1800 Block of North Wilson Way, Civic District
The male victim, 32, was in the area when two suspects attempted to steal property from his vehicle. The victim confronted the suspects. One suspect brandished a gun at the victim before both suspects fled in a white vehicle. SUSPECTS: #1 Hispanic male 25, wearing a white shirt. #2 Unknown race male adult, wearing a dark jacket.
 
4. Resisting Arrest (1523) Fox Creek Drive and Fox Creek Court, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 26, reported the suspect vandalized his property. Officers located the suspect in the area and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect pulled away and officer’s used holds to push the suspect against a patrol vehicle. ARRESTED: Sok Chum, 41, for vandalism, public intoxication, narcotics, and resisting arrest.
