Green Bay Police Identify the Driver Who Fled from a Fatal Hit-and-Run on W. Mason Street

The Green Bay Police Department has identified the driver from the W. Mason Street fatal hit-and-run traffic crash on Sunday, October 30, 2022, as a 15-year-old female from Green Bay.

That crash, which was reported to have involved at least three vehicles, resulted in the death of 17-year-old Cruz Beltron, a male passenger from Milwaukee.

As of now, the name of the juvenile driver will not be released. The driver was transported to the Brown County Juvenile Detention Center on Monday, October 31, 2022, after turning herself into police.

This investigation is ongoing. No additional details will be made available, at this time.
