Multiple Arrested When Fontana Deputy Conducts Proactive Patrol in a Community Park
DATE/TIME: October 31, 2022, at approximately 11:21 p.m
INCIDENT: Carrying a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place, Possessing a Large Capacity Magazine, Probation Violation, Warrant Arrests and Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
LOCATION: 18000 Block of Jurupa Avenue, Bloomington (Kessler Park)
SUSPECT(S): December Stevenson, 22-years-old, Resident of San Bernardino
Darro Reid, 37-years-old, Resident of San Bernardino
Allateasha Adams, 27-years-old, Resident of Apple Valley
Dakota Walker, 31-years-old, Resident of Victorville
Dewayne Parks, 34-years-old, Resident of Fontana.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 31, 2022, at approximately 11:21 p.m., Deputy Nunez from the Fontana Sheriff's Station was conducting proactive patrol during a busy Halloween Night. Nunez drove past the community park and observed several occupied vehicles in the parking lot during closed hours.
Nunez contacted the subjects in the vehicles and discovered several had outstanding warrants and one subject was on active probation. Nunez conducted a vehicle search incident to arrest and discovered a loaded fiream with a high capacity magazine inside one of the occupied vehicles. Nunez detained all subjects and conducted a thorough investigation.
At the conclusion of Nunez' investigation, he arrested Stevenson for carrying a loaded firearm in public and for possessing a high capacity magazine. Reid was arrested for violating the terms of his probation and Adams for possessing narcotic paraphernalia. Walker was arrested for an outstanding assault warrant and Parks for an outstanding traffic warrant.
