Wilmington Police arrest man on gun charges moments after shots fired incident: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges moments after a shots fired incident.
On November 2 at approximately 8:38 p.m., police responded to the 2400 block of West 4th Street for a shots fired complaint. Arriving officers observed 35-year-old Angel Cruz in the 300 block of Greenhill Avenue and made contact with him. Following a brief investigation, police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun and one bag of heroin. Cruz was taken into custody without incident.
Cruz was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm while also in Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
