INCIDENT: Ramey Warrant Arrest for Assault with Serious Injury and Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed
LOCATION: Newberry Road/Toy Truck Trail, Newberry Springs
SUSPECT: Robert Harrison, 53-year-old male of Newberry Springs
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 29, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Deputy McCrystal, with the Barstow Sheriff’s Station, located Robert Harrison, who had an active warrant. The warrant for assault with serious injury was issued after a September 15, 2022, incident in Newberry Springs.
Harrison was located at Newberry Road and Toy Truck Trail with a loaded .380 semi-automatic firearm and a jar containing suspected methamphetamine. Harrison was booked at the Barstow Jail for the outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance while armed. Harrison is currently being held at High Desert Detention Center, in lieu of $360,000 bail.
