INCIDENT: PC 212.5 - Residential Robbery, VC 10851 - Theft of a Motor Vehicle
LOCATION: 7700 block of Victor Vista Avenue, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jessica Allen, 35-year-old resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): 88-year-old resident of Yucca Valley
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin Station responded to a theft of a motor vehicle at the 7700 block of Victor Vista Avenue. The suspect, identified as Jessica Allen, entered the victims residence uninvited. While inside the residence, she stole the victim's cellular phone, residence phone, and vehicle keys. Allen fled the location in the victim's vehicle, however, she crashed a short distance away.
Deputies located the vehicle and set up a perimeter in the immediate area. Allen was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident. Through additional investigation, Allen was found to be involved in several additional crimes committed throughout Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree within the last week.
Allen was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for PC 212.5-Residential Robbery and VC 10851-Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
