DATE/TIME: November 2, 2022, at approximately 2:31 p.m.
INCIDENT: Carrying a Concealed Weapon in Vehicle, Carrying a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place, Possession of Nitrous Oxide and Driving Without a License.
LOCATION: 11300 Block of Cedar Avenue, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Morgan, 19-years-old, Resident of Wildomar
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: Deputies Arroyo and Barkley from the Fontana Sheriff's Station - Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) were conducting proactive patrol in the 11300 block of Cedar Avenue in Bloomington. The MET team observed a vehicle traveling southbound toward Jurupa Valley with several vehicle code violations.
The deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver, later identified as Christopher Morgan, who did not have a driver's license. Morgan was detained and subsequently arrested.
During an inventory search of the vehicle, deputies located a loaded firearm. The firearm was not registered to Morgan and he did not have a permit to carry a firearm. A large nitrous oxide tank was also located inside the vehicle with paraphernalia used for intoxication. Morgan was transported to the West Valley Detention Center where he was booked without further incident.
