On November 3, 2022 at approximately 2:45 PM Simi Valley resident Joshua Andersen 42 years old walked up a known vehicle from a prior incident and punched the passenger mirror causing it to shatter. During the process, the child in the front passenger seat received a small laceration from the mirror. The suspect then reached into the vehicle and retrieved a baseball bat from the center console area. The suspect then threw the baseball bat back into the vehicle hitting the child in the shoulder. The suspect was arrested at his residence for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Vandalism. School Officials are aware of the incident.
