NWS Paducah Weather Statement 

Wildfire potential will be elevated this afternoon, mainly as a result of gusty afternoon winds, above normal temperatures and continued drought conditions.

A few thunderstorms are possible late this evening into the early overnight hours across southeast Missouri. Lightning and locally heavy downpours will be the primary storm-related hazards.

Instructions:

Spotter activation is not anticipated but, Be Aware of the forecast.
