Western Avenue Crosswalk Closure at Winding Brook Drive (Monday, November 7-Wednesday, November 9) 
The Town has been notified by the project manager for the Western Avenue sidewalk project that the contractor will be installing a new pedestrian crossing signal at US Route 20 (Western Avenue) and Winding Brook Drive. This project is expected to start on Monday, November 7 and continue through Wednesday, November 9.
To accommodate this work, the pedestrian crosswalk will be closed for two days. This includes closing the crosswalk to Guilderland Elementary School.
The Town will make every effort to make residents aware of road closures and detours via Nixle Alerts and the Town’s email notices.
