* At 354 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Cottonwood, or 10 miles northeast of Ennis, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This dangerous storm will be near... Cottonwood around 400 PM CDT. Grays Prairie around 405 PM CDT. Kaufman and Crandall around 410 PM CDT. Talty around 415 PM CDT. Terrell around 425 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Heartland, Telico, Rand, Ola, Rosser, Becker, Post Oak Bend City, Bristol, Lawrence and Oak Grove. This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 490 and 500.
