Update on the synagogue threat 
Attention Interlaken residents.
There has been some miscommunication and rumors about what occurred with the subject in question regarding the temple threats. This subject was not arrested, apprehended or involved in any way with Interlaken. The press release this morning was for informational purposes only and directed towards our residents.
The subject was identified by the FBI Newark Field office and is no longer considered a threat. This case was not directly connected to our service area.
We have continued our increased patrols and request everyone remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police right away.
