This is an emergency notification from the Lubbock Police Department regarding a(n) Major Accident. The incident details at this time are: LPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is currently investigating a separate collision in the southbound lanes of West Loop 289 and 34th Street. All southbound traffic on the West Loop 289 is being diverted onto the 34th Street Exit. The LPD needs the public to avoid the area.
