On November 7th at 8:58 AM, Amarillo Police officers were called to the area of Bell Street and Gainsborough Road on a male forcing a screaming female into a vehicle. Officers located the silver Hyundai vehicle and initiated a suspicion stop. The driver refused to stop and evaded officers throughout Amarillo. The driver eventually stopped the car and evaded on foot in the 2000 block of Amarillo Boulevard West. The suspect was taken into custody at 9:27 AM. The victim is safe. The investigation into incident is ongoing.
