INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision Involving a Pedestrian
LOCATION: Needles Highway / W Park Road, Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Maryha Delre, 39-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 7, 2022, at approximately 3:36 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department responded to the intersection of Needles Highway and W Park Road, reference a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the roadway.
When deputies arrived on scene, it was reported the subject wondered into oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle. The victim, later identified as Maryha Delre, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. The San Bernardino County Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) was called and has taken over the investigation.
