Ogden Dunes Area Prescribed Fires Planned for TOMORROW Tue-8-Nov 
Indiana Dunes National Park's Great Lakes Fire Management team, in cooperation with the Ogden Dunes Vol. Fire Department, intends to conduct the 93-acre Long Lake Prescribed Fire unit (including areas south of the Ogden Dunes Community Church, Deer Trail, and Diana Court west of Hillcrest Road) and the 150-acre Burns Ditch Prescribed Fire unit (including areas west of Hillcrest Road behind the Firehouse/Street Department, along Boat Club Roas, behind Bittersweet Lane, Aspen Road, Skyline Drive in Suerinity Park) TOMORROW, Tuesday, November 8th, 2022, weather permitting, with ignition planned for around 10:00 am.
Use caution when driving in the area as firefighters and fire apparatus may be in and along the roadway; in addition smoke may be in the area.
