Winter Storm Watch until 06:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with the potential for locally higher amounts. Ice accumulations of up to one quarter of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be nearly impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice where freezing rain occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Uncertainty remains for the areas that could receive the heaviest snow and timing and coverage of freezing rain or sleet. This will create large spread in potential impacts, and the storm track could still shift.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WEST POLK ... NORMAN ... CLAY ... WILKIN ... EDDY ... NELSON ... GRAND FORKS ... GRIGGS ... STEELE ... TRAILL ... BARNES ... CASS ... RANSOM ... SARGENT ... RICHLAND
