* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches is the most likely snowfall total, with potential accumulations up to 9 inches.

* WHERE...Haines Borough and Klukwan, Glacier Bay and City and Borough of Juneau. Primarily along the Icy Strait to Juneau region.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Concerns about the higher snowfall totals include the warming that may occur Thursday. If the colder air persists along the Icy Strait corridor, snowfall amounts will likely be higher. Snow could also be a heavy/wet snow so it would be difficult to manage.
