The Camarillo Police Department, Community Resources Unit is proud to partner up with our local Starbucks baristas to host another Coffee with a Cop event. Coffee with a Cop will be held on Thursday, November 17, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Starbucks located at 4511 Las Posas Road, Camarillo.
A simple cup of coffee is a great way to start conversations with your local deputies and people in our community.
November is National Alzheimer’s awareness month. The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) is committed to our community to assist with people who suffer this debilitating disease as well as performing other amazing services. In short, their goal is to advocate for those over 60 years old and to help families and loved ones thrive in our community. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with VCAAA for projects and invited them to share further information to residents.
Coffee with a Cop was founded in 2011 by the Hawthorne Police Department to better communicate with their community and discuss topics affecting the public. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is excited to continue with these amazing public events. Learn more at www.coffeewithacop.com
