LOCATION: Green Road/ Sage Road, Pinon Hills
SUSPECT: Robert Dobbins, 45-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 2:41am, Deputy J. Mora stopped a 1995 Chevrolet truck for California vehicle code violations near Green Road and Sage Road in Pinon Hills.
When Deputy Mora contacted the driver of the vehicle, Robert Dobbins, he displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. An odor of alcohol and marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. A loaded firearm and methamphetamine were located under the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Deputy Mora authored a search warrant for Dobbins' residence in the 15300 block of Kern Avenue in Hesperia. At the residence, deputies located an additional 39 firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. A spent grenade was also located at the residence and turned over to San Bernardino County Bombs/ Arson Division for destruction.
Robert Dobbins was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $ 50,000.00 bail.
