INCIDENT: PC 29800 (A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm
LOCATION: Soquel Canyon Parkway and State Route 71
SUSPECT(S): Sollomon Kim, 35-year-old Male Resident of Chino Hills

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at approximately 3:21 A.M., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for unsafe speed. The driver was identified as Sollomon Kim and found to be a convicted felon. Deputies searched Kim's vehicle and located a firearm. Kim was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Detectives continued the investigation and served a search warrant at Kim's Chino Hills residence. Detectives located several ghost AR-15 rifles and ghost pistols. Kim possessed additional firearm parts to manufacture AR-15 rifles.
