Crime advisory:
The State of New Jersey and the Borough of Leonia has seen in increase in both auto and residential burglaries.  An arrest was made recently from one of the reported burglaries. The subjects were found to be in possession of items taken from the home.  This is an ongoing investigation and charges are pending.
We would like to remind residents to keep doors locked, lights on, and to monitor any cameras you might have.  Report any suspicious vehicles and/or persons promptly.
