Prestorm Information

Home preparations

  • Please walk around the perimeter of your property and ensure that any items that could become projectiles during a storm are put away. IF YOU CAN PICK IT UP, PUT IT UP. This includes yard decor, furniture, bikes, garbage and recycles bins, and other loose items. We encourage all residents to be where you need to be by 5 pm this evening.
  • Charge all cellphones, laptops, portable chargers, etc.
  • Have your disaster supply kit ready.

Take Photos:

- YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS: Take pictures of the inside and outside of your home or business to have documentation in case you need to file a claim. Photograph furniture, electronics, collections, or anything valuable now, before the storm.

- IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS: Photograph or scan important, hard-to-replace documents, like identification, birth certificates, marriage licenses, medical records, financial and property records, and important contact information. Back them up to a cloud service or an external hard drive or thumb drive. Store physical copies in a sturdy, waterproof container or bag and keep it off the floor.

Garbage and Recycle Update

Wastepro will not be running on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Instead, they will make double pickups on Monday, November 14, 2022. Please move all garbage and recycle bins inside. Friday operations will be determined and announced depending on the storm's effects.
