Water Valve Repairs

A Message From the South River Department of Public Works

Due to emergency water valve repairs taking place at Joseph Street and Wilson Avenue, some sections of town are without water service. Residences from the area of Hillside Avenue and Ford Street to the area of Main Street and Pottery Lane are affected by the water shut off.

In addition, other areas may experience low water pressure and/or discolored water.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We will provide any updates if they become available.

Running your cold water for several minutes as well as flushing your toilets once or twice may clear up any discoloration in some cases. If experiencing discolored water, avoid doing laundry until the color returns to normal.
