WARRANTS
LOCATION: 11200 Block of Lee Avenue, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Everett Omar King, 31-years-old, Resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 9:35am, deputies responded to an apartment complex in the 11200 block of Lee Avenue in Adelanto. According to the caller, they saw an adult male wearing a yellow hoodie walking around the complex with a gun. Within minutes, another witness called and said they saw the same male on the top floor of the apartment complex with a handgun in his hand.
Deputies located the suspect, identified as Everett Omar King, attempting to remove the sweatshirt and hide the handgun. King was under the influence of methamphetamine, and in possession of methamphetamine. King attempted to fight with deputies and flee, injuring one deputy who was treated and released by medical personnel at the scene.
Everett Omar King was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $15,0000 bail.
