*Reminder: Businesses in the road closure are still open and residents will still have access.
A railroad crossing rehabilitation project will require the closure and detour of Route 517 (High St) in Hackettstown and Independence Township.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, NJ Transit is scheduled to close and detour Route 517 in both directions between Bilby Road in Independence Township and Route 46 (Main Street) to replace the crossing located between Fourth St and Miller St in Hackettstown.
