Hudson Place redesign community meeting reminder; Honor Native American Heritage Month on Nov. 14.

REMINDER: The community meeting on the Hudson Place redesign is tonight!

The City of Hoboken and LCOR will host a community meeting tonight, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St., to discuss the redesign of Hudson Place as part of the Hoboken Connect Project. Hudson Place runs from Hudson Street to Warrington Plaza and serves as the gateway between Hoboken, the Hoboken Ferry Terminal, and the Hoboken Train Terminal.

Project redeveloper LCOR will present design concepts to the public, each of which envisions a shared street or “woonerf” designed to create a safe and welcoming pedestrian experience, as recommended by the Hoboken Yard Redevelopment Plan.

After the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to comment and provide feedback on concept features, including public gathering space elements, green infrastructure, bicycle and pedestrian areas, historic preservation elements, material types, and more.
