Update: Jordan J. Leavy-Carter Charged with 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide; Shooting Death of Skyé Bleu Evans-Cowley
A Green Bay man who was arrested in Beloit on a probation violation and sought as a person of interest in the east side shooting that killed 5-year-old Skyé Bleu Evans-Cowley of Green Bay in October, has been charged by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged Jordan J. Leavy-Carter, 35, on Thursday, November 10, 2022:
• 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide - as a Party to a Crime, Repeater
• Neglecting a Child – Consequence is Death, Repeater
• Possession of Firearm by Felon, Repeater
Leavy-Carter was taken into custody on Friday, October 21, 2022, by the City of Beloit Police Department with the assistance of the Green Bay Police Department, following the shooting at a residence in the 1600 block of Amy Street on Monday, October 17, 2022.
