* Tornado Warning for... Alamance County in central North Carolina...

* Until 900 AM EST.

* At 827 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles north of Siler City, moving north at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Graham, Mebane and Elon around 845 AM EST. Burlington around 850 AM EST. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Snow Camp, Alamance, Lake Burlington, Sutphin and Haw River.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ALAMANCE, NC
