The remnants of Post Tropical Depression Nicole will affect our area beginning on Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. The heaviest rain is expected to be late Friday night into early Saturday morning. Average rainfall totals are expected to be 1 to 2 inches for the entire event. Up to 2 to 3 inches of rainfall is possible depending on where the heaviest rain bands setup. Isolated thunderstorms are possible.
The heaviest rain bands from these thunderstorms can cause flash flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Winds will be 15-20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. The winds may cause down tree limbs, resulting in power outages.
Please use caution when driving.
DO NOT walk or drive through flooded roadways.
